NEIC is putting together a trip to the 2026 National Jamboree. It's July 22-31, 2026, at Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean, West Virginia, with an extra travel day before and after.

Thanks to Ethan and Alex for attending the Feed My Starving Children on Saturday. They worked hard and represented the troop well among the Lord of Glory group.

Key Scouter Award

PURPOSE: The purpose of this award is to recognize noteworthy service of a Unit Committee Member who is registered in Scouting in the North Star District of the Northeast Illinois Council. The award is meant to encourage initiative, interest, responsibility and cooperation from Committee Members in assisting Unit leaders in promoting and carrying out good Scouting programs.

Northwestern University is hosting an All Scout Nanotechnology Day for scouts in 6th grade and higher.

Most activities are in small groups to facilitate lots of Q&A with the scientists. It’s on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 8:30am - 2pm on Northwestern University’s Evanston campus.
